Soft modal fabric gives a smooth fall and natural sheen, making the saree comfortable for long wear. The floral block print is inspired by classic Indian rose motifs seen in heritage textiles. The contrast red pallu and border add a festive character while still staying wearable for day occasions. Modal is derived from beechwood pulp and is valued for its breathability and drape. It holds dye extremely well, which allows sharp block prints and deep colors. Block printing traditionally uses carved wooden blocks dipped in dye and pressed onto fabric; this design carries that block-print character on smooth modal.
