Kosh means treasure

A saree should be able to tell you where it came from

Most sarees arrive with no story at all. Ours arrive with three: a fibre, a motif and a drape. Here is how each one is chosen.

Chapter one · The fibre

Chosen for how it wears

Banana silk, Tussar, Chanderi, bamboo, modal. Every fabric is picked for how it feels on the body, not just how it photographs.

Chapter two · The motif

Mithila, on cloth

Madhubani began on the walls of Mithila: fish, peacock, lotus. Our prints carry those motifs to the border and pallu, and the label says “inspired” because they are printed, not painted.

Hour eight is the test

Anything holds its shape for an hour. We choose fabrics for how they sit at 8 PM, not just at 8 AM, and a matching blouse piece comes with every one.

“Comfortable, classy and easy to carry.”
