Sarees drawn from India's living art traditions — Madhubani from the Mithila region of Bihar, Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh, Bandhni from Gujarat and Rajasthan, and Bagru block printing from Rajasthan. Four crafts, each several centuries old, each still practised today.

What we are actually selling. These are craft-inspired prints on natural fabrics, not hand-painted or hand-tied originals. A genuine hand-drawn Kalamkari or a tied Bandhni costs several times what these do and takes weeks to make. We would rather be plain about that than let the word heritage imply something it should not.

What you get instead. The visual language of these traditions — the fish and lotus of Mithila, the drawn line of Srikalahasti, the resist dot of Kutch — on Tussar silk, Chanderi and modal, at a price that lets you wear them rather than store them.
